I still have more screencaps!
This one is from this video of Roy Halladay… not very articulate, but still incredibly adorable.
“Uh, uh… just, pitch the pitch, and, and, just try to execute pitches, um…”

I swear I have a lack of Halladay pictures is because I thought he’d be there forever, idek.

Being interviewed after his perfect game tonight. Look at that smile!
Roy Halladay, known to my boyfriend simply as “the other boyfriend.”

I screencapped this from Wikipedia before it got taken down.
He is God himself.
haha and no, I’m not the one who wrote that.
A dictionary definition of the word, “HALLADAY.”
I’d feel like such a poser wearing this since I’m not a Phillies fan (not that I actively dislike them) but I want that shirt too. I want it. I WANT IT. “A day of rest for the bullpen,” ahahhahahhahahaha oh my.
Thank you lifeandtimes very much for following!
I saw on your blog that you like Phillies baseball… well, it’s time for me to admit to the rest of the world about my
secretnot-so-secret-anymore love of this guy:
…along with, of course, my corresponding hatred of said guy for not pitching for my team. Goodness.
I <3 Roy Halladay. A bunch of Phillies Phans questioned that deal, but I never did. We gave up Cliff Lee after he pitched a career-high number of innings (270!!!) and got a certified ace in return. And I mean, jesus, early returns have been good. The Doc’s throwing shutouts, and Lee just missed a month with an injury. Who woulda guessed?!?!
There are so many things I could say in response but right now the only reaction is HOW COULD THEY QUESTION THAT DEAAAALLLLLLLLLL D: I WOULD HAVE CELEBRATED.
I mean. Yes. You guys clearly got the better end of the deal there :)
To everybody else: I complained about the MLB At-Bat app and its blackout restrictions because even when your home team’s game is the “Free game of the day,” it won’t let you watch it, so I still couldn’t watch my Angels play while I was in the lab… but… this is actually how you use that feature (haha): Whenever The Doc pitches I check to see if that’s the “Free game of the day.”
…and that is my confession of the day. :/
