First Look of the Day: AMC just released the first images from its highly-anticipated live-action adaptation of Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard’s ongoing comic book series The Walking Dead.
Synopsis:

The six-episode first season — written, produced and directed by three-time Academy Award-nominee Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile) — follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, traveling in search of a safe and secure home after a zombie apocalypse.

The Walking Dead!
I absolutel love this comic! I couldn’t really keep up with it (I think I do better with limited series, this one is still ongoing and I just never had the time to catch up once I got behind). But I did read a good chunk and I reall liked it. Plus, the art is beautiful! I mean… even when there’s rotting zombies wandering around, the art is still gorgeous. I don’t know if I’m much of a zombie fan but I definitely want to see this show because I love the comic.
